GuardEM®? EMS series magnetic absorbing material is a polymer consisting of functional alloy powder and specific resin, which offers super high permeability and superior EMI noise suppression performance. It is formulated soft and flexible with ease of die-cutting or laminating, and available in custom film covering and adhesive backing. Its permeability available from μ'20 to μ'280, backing adhesive available from 0.005mmT to 0.05mmT.
The product functional principle is based on the magnetic microwave absorber, which converts the electromagnetic wave into thermal energy by means of insulation loss, magnetic loss and impedance loss to reduce the electromagnetic radiation. It has high magnetic permeability and wide selectable frequency band. And can be developed for specific frequency bands

Reinforced Magnetic Noise Absorber
In the strong interference area of many EMI signals, in order to prevent leakage of interference signals, a layer of conductive shielding material is added on the surface of the absorbing materials. Thus, the leaked EMI noise signals will be reflected and absorbed again by absorbing material to achieve better shielding performance. At the same time, the metal conductive layer also increases the heat dissipation coefficient of its surface, so as to lower the surface temperature and make the device operate better. In areas of special PCBs where require soldering, the metal layer also serves as an aid to soldering. If surface insulation is required, it allows to add an ultra-thin insulating layer.

Applications
